Overview #
Admins or permitted users can reset an employee’s login password when access needs to be restored or updated. After a successful reset, the employee can log in using the new password.

Permission Behavior #
The Reset Password action depends on permission from:
Admin → Employee → Reset Employee Password (For All)
- If a user has Reset Employee Password (For All) permission, they can reset the password for any employee.
- Without this permission, the Reset Password action remains hidden or restricted.
- Direct access without permission shows the Access Denied Page.
Password Reset Rules #
- Reset Password is visible only if the employee has an assigned seat.
- If no seat is assigned, the action is hidden.
- New password must include:
- Uppercase letter
- Lowercase letter
- Number
- Special character
- Password and Confirm Password must match.
Email Notification #
After the password is reset successfully, the system sends an email to the employee’s work email.
The email includes:
- Login URL
- New temporary password
- Instruction to change the password after login
If the email fails, the password reset still remains successful.
Save Changes #
Click Reset after entering the new password.
On success:
- Password is updated securely.
- Success message is shown.
- Employee receives the new password by email.
- Employee can log in immediately with the updated password.
